04 In this video, we're going to cover a new feature would work orders, they'll just be editing and or copying to knew what we're going to call a complex work orders. So I'm gonna give you a little definition of that and I'll go over to system settings or that control this. I have a work order here that I've preloaded, um, where I have 14 different part lives in. In addition, I have a [inaudible] up 19 operations. When you go to a copier order to new like this, it may or may not copied a new properly or may not, may or may not copied. So if you get to serve her time out you general data, bear zero timed out can system, could not copy that order are the reasons behind it is every time we do anything with a part where we copy this, we're trying to price every single part line to every single operation on that work order.
10 So you can see I have a lot of different operations in my example, your operational pricing, quarter pricing, Kappa connections. So if you get that time out, um, and this is the reason we added this feature, when you go to copy of this order to new you get a time out. It's not gonna cop didn't know. So we've added a system setting for that. I'll review that right now. So you're going to system settings, look up a system setting of either sending name of complex or system setting seven, seven, 36, no testing. I turned away up to deliberately time at all, but I want to turn it down to something a little more applicable. Let's say I have the two values are the first value is a number of part rose. And the second value is the number of operations stuff. So I'm setting it the 10 part roles or 15 operation steps with a copy of order to know.
05 So once that's set and you'll have to find a sweet spot on your particular site, it might be a 10 part rows and 30 operation step to where you don't run into issues. You'll have to excuse me, I have to find the sweet spot with that. All right, so now let's say I'm going to first of all do a operation to add here and I'm going to just add a process to this instead of just a single operation just to make a chunk a little bit and then on the insert you'll get a pop-up warning pricing and tracking updates for this work order needed to be done manually via advanced refresh pricing, advanced refresh tracking, OK, that message will go away, but you'll see at the bottom here, none of my added operations priced, which they should have. So you'll need to go to the advanced stat refresh pricing Russia and it'll.
02 It'll run a spinning wheel. Pricing has been refreshed, and if you scroll down the page and see that those operations have refreshed off you're tracking now this one is already OK in tracking, which you'll see well it's not OK. You'll see lines that are not refreshed into tracking properly. So that's why you also need to go advanced refresh tracking and the same thing. You'll get a dialog box, it'll run its little progress. Progress will let you know what's working on something and as soon as that finishes, their no tracking has been updated. OK, that and we'll go to the web and you'll see all the parts are no available to track, so the importance of this is when you have a complex work quarter in legacy, you will have to find the best settings for within your sites that Reddit's under system seven, 7:30 a, m.
54 If you don't have a lot of operations, maybe you pump shut number up to 20, 30 all, but if you're doing a lot of parts, maybe you set it at 30, 30 part roles or [inaudible] roles or something because when you go and I'm going to take this work order now and I'm going to go advance, copied a new. It doesn't matter what kind of copy it is, internal rework, external rework, or an exact copy. I'm just going to make an exact copy of it. You'll get the dialogue pop, pop up. Pricing and tracking updates need to be done manually, Yo, OK at the system, will copy of the work order to do and you notice how quickly a copied into a new work orders and all went to seven, but when we go and look at our, let's get our process page because it's just to the rest of her work here know pricing is attached to this work order by Kappa attachment, but I do not have my pricing attachments.
46 If you look at the whip, no parts are available for tracking so you'll have to go through advanced refresh pricing, refresh it or the dialogue in pricing will refresh. You'll see all my different pricing methods attached and then advanced once more refreshed, tracking Diallo buck skin it, it runs this progress. We'll that just letting you know it's doing something and then uh, when it completes, she'll get the dialogue. That tracking has been refreshed and then when you look at your web parts will be available to track again. So that's, it's a new feature to the software and this will be available in December of 2017 release. Like I said, these system settings is 7:36 or under complex. You look at under work order, complex work order or which either which way, you know, you go into search here, you will find that in a few other settings, but just ways to find it. But a system setting [inaudible] and this is dealing with complex order, copy and edit. You'll have, like I say, for site by site, you'll have to find the happy spot by default we will have it set at 10 rows and 10 operations.
