Printers may not be installed when you first receive your laptop.
Printers may take up to an hour to be installed through managed policies.
If you need a printer right away (or they have not appeared in the printers list, you can go to Self Service and install/re-install your school's printers.
Before doing this, please ensure that you have restarted your computer after initial login to ensure that all policies have had a chance to take effect. This will also remove any Printer Proxy errors.
Remember, that you can always go to Self Service to install a different printer at another site.
Self Service is the approved method for adding printers. If you attempt to add a printer through System Preferences, the printer may be installed with the wrong driver and will not work properly.
