What is differentiation?
Differentiation is a student-centered approach to instruction that intentionally adapts content, process, product, and learning environment so all students can access and master grade-level standards. It provides multiple entry points, scaffolds, and extensions based on student strengths, readiness, and needs, ensuring equity by giving each learner the support or challenge necessary to grow. Differentiation relies on ongoing progress monitoring and responsive teaching to engage every student in meaningful learning.
