It is recommended that you back up student and teacher iPads periodically. If anything happens to a managed device, you can restore from a backup and keep project files, photos, etc.
2. Navigate to your iCloud backup settings:
Settings>YOUR NAME>iCloud>iCloud Backup
Tap the switch next to iCloud Backup and tap "Back Up Now"
3. When you get it, activate your new iPad. During the "Hello" setup process, you will be prompted to enter your Apple ID information in order to restore from an iCloud backup.
