Enroll only a new or restored iPad into MDM. If not yet restored, complete one of the following options:
"Restore and update" using iTunes on your computer OR
On your iPad, go to Settings>General>Software Update. When the update is complete, launch Settings again. Tap General>Reset>Erase all content and settings.
Once restored, complete the "Hello" activation process on each iPad. Select the following options:
Tap "English"
Tap "United States"
Join WIFI Network: EUSDEDU
Tap "Next" to allow Escondido Union School District to configure the iPad *
Enter username and PW (same as staff email login)*
Tap "Use Siri" (if desired)
*Complete a HelpDesk Ticket if the enrollment steps highlighted in orange are not prompted. Be sure to choose "Mobile Device" as your request type and provide your iPad's barcode or serial #.

Stuck?
During activation, the following error message appears:
Power down the iPad. Wait 10 seconds, then power it back up. Continue the activation process.
Restore in Recovery Mode using iTunes on your computer. Then start the activation process again.
Complete a HelpDesk Ticket.
The configuration for your iPad could not be downloaded from ESCONDIDO UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT. Invalid profile.
Be sure to choose "Mobile Device" as your request type and provide your iPad's barcode or serial #.
