Champions of common humanity

A story of Local Response by Rafique from the Constellation

At Champion Care Homes, we started our recruitment with CLCP. For, if candidates were equally placed in terms of integrity then attitude matters. This was due to the lesson we had learned that qualifications and skills do not matter.

Moreover, we stressed our common humanity. For we learnt that if we brought our differences to our work then there would be fights. They might begin as verbal battles, but sometimes they would be transformed into physical ones.

Our method for dealing with differences which led to an altercation was the AAR (After Action Review). Moreover, both parties were liable to a maximum fine of about one-tenth their salary. If any person repeated a fight based on differences, then they would have to leave.

When we emphasized what we had in common, people had fewer disagreements and battles.
