An appreciative mirror

A story of Local Response by Scinthia from Chrysalide

“Drug… its takes up residence in your head, and it grows, and grows… it ends up taking so much room in fact that it shatters all of your dreams, into billions of pieces… And after that, you’re really going to need someone to hold up an appreciative mirror for you to realize your strengths, look down, remember your shattered dreams and start picking up the pieces. But there’s nothing more natural than a dream, so once we’ve found it again, it stays with us.”

When someone held up an appreciative mirror for me, I started to pick up the pieces of my life.
