A story of Local Response by Cindy from AILES
In the district of Khan Mangal, people die because of drugs.
In 2005, the residents decided to mobilise in order to help and to inform people about the situation.
In 2009, AILES (Help, Information, Freedom, Hope and Solidarity) is registered as an association to help the families affected and infected by HIV and drugs.
From 2009 to 2016 - Provide support, listen, organise, keep to medication, prevention, fundraiser, dance therapy, group support, film screening, Peer Educator.
Nowadays, I work with people using drugs and living with HIV. AILES helps me to be independent, to have confidence in myself and to move forward.
When we joined together, we became stronger.
