Biography : Don't judge anyone on appearance only, that is what is most important when being around Wotatease.

Born as only daughter to the famous great wizard and alchemist Mixenmatch, who tought her just about everything he knew. When she was 25 her father was killed by by the barbarian prince Hakanlot of Faranwide as his idea of furthering the well-being of common man by removing dangerous magic-users and their demon spawn. Posing as a maiden in distress Wotatease later got her revenge on Hakanlot (who seriously poisoned and wounded was left to die in a desert) and most of the Faranwide family, the few remaining distant relatives of this once great house never mention her as the reason for their downfall though, never thinking that a mere maiden could cause such trouble (the mere thought that their greatest adversary could be a woman never even crossed their narrow minds). After several years of adventure, where she also met the elf who became her lover, she was invited as a member of the Wizards council of middle Oerth, and shortly thereafter dismissed and kindly asked to never set her foot in the council again, as to why, the speculations and rumours are all false according to her. She settled down with her elf lover (his name is undisclosed and never mentioned by Wot or anybody who knew him) , some say they even married, and she gave birth to her daughter Shillith. A wonderful time followed that lasted for some decades, when Shiliith grew up to a beautiful half-elf damsel. But old fiends found them and the happy times came to an abrupt end, upon her lovers death she shifted her teenage daughter out to another plane of existence to save her, knowing that she might never see her again. The loss of both lover and daughter caused her great pain and it was during this that she first came to know the Magician of the Abode, who together with other friends put her on feet again (though a series of new adventures). It was during this period that she acquired the "dragon" familiar that still follows her.

She acquired an old wizards tower where she put up her business and started her research in summoning. For everybody outsider the Tower it was apparently run by an aged magician and she was careful not to divulge the secret of who was running the place (this façade was maintained by some illusionist magic, several of her adventuring friends (who used to visit and stay there for extended periods the first decades), the help of the Old Magician of the Abode and at some point in time even some summoned daemons. Anyone who happening to see her thought she was some doxy keeping the magician happy. It was several decades later, when the tower was mostly left alone by any others, that she began to experiment with summoning of chaos demons and servants of the elder gods. This also created a rumour that it was unsafe around the tower (which basically was quite true) and people started to avoid travelling in the area.

It ended with a major disaster, caused by a crack in the floor in her summoning room (caused by an earthquake induced by one of the chaos spawns she tried to summon), which nearly was her end as well. If she had not been rescued by a band of adventurers following the request of a nearby town to investigate the foul creatures encountered lately in the, what they supposed, abandoned wizards tower (she was found hanging spread-eagled and ready for sacrifice and in a very bad condition both physically and mentally). It was probably during this period that she acquired several of her mental instabilities and disorders, even if some old wizards from the council would say that she had those tendencies early on.

After this she travelled a lot again for a while, this times through several planes of existence, she got recognition from the Magic Council of Avalone as a specialist in summoning, after being introduced by a certain other Magician. Although she lectured there occasionally (and was referred to as a warning to others), she never accepted a permanent position (they gave her the choice to get a position in the council, if she gave up summoning and underwent treatment for her magic induced disorders), but continued with her unsafe experiments and in the end got banned. She moved back to her wizards tower, but after a another disaster that destroyed a major part of the tower, she decided to visit her old friend again.

She is quite knowledgable, not only academia, but also tales and song from several planes of existence, which she loves to share. She can be a very good counterpart in any discussion, but is also known to suddenly stare blankly before her and go "eeep". If she does this on purpose or not is unknown.

She can appear very provocative in both language, behaviour and clothing, something driven by a manic fear of not being attractive enough, combine that with her sexual phobia (if anyone get to close she will panic, usually hitting the one advancing on her with the first best thing she finds), and its easy to understand that there could be more than one problem due to this. Most women would say that her sense of fashion leaves a lot to be desired (or is in the gutters with her mind), the men usually drools at her lack of appropriate attire (we are not talking wardrobe malfunction as much as the lack of fundamental functionality of the wardrobe to begin with). When asked how she decide on her wardrobe, she will reply that she leaves such petty things to her familiar Growf...

Despite all this, when there is need she can be a deadly opponent and a lifesaving ally, years of adventuring have honed her skills in survival to almost perfection, despite her eccentric behaviour. It is when she is in safe everyday life and comfort that she appears to go totally bonkers, although there are exceptions.

Gemstone of choice: Sparkly things (working on it)

Other notes of importance: She has a dragon familiar: Growf, (really an overgrown pseudo-dragon looking like a cross between a baby dragon a curious puppy) that is extremely loyal to her. Despite it's apparence it is actually quite clever. Thanks to her magic tinkering it have some rather extraordinary abilities, like a flame that will effectively destroy dead materials (like clothes) but leave living things unharmed (including skin and hair, at least most of it).

Rumour has it that she intends to visit the Abode for a longer period after a "small" incident (read: disaster) in her own keep.

She keeps young by potions of Arrested Ageing that she needs to imbibe once a year, if she would miss one, she would start ageing normally again. The recipe was one of her fathers big inventions and few other than Wot learned about it before he was murdered and she is not keen on sharing it.

Surprisingly enough she is very aware of her mental condition(s) and both acts on it and jokes wildly about her sanity. Sometimes to the point where people tend to believe that it is just an act on her part. Most who know her also know that she really have some odd problems and take it as a warning not to deal with chaos-spawns or their masters, at least not if you want to keep your sanity intact. An example of this is her choice of clothes, which are often extremely provocative and revealing, as she have the need to assert herself as woman, but when people begin to look at her and comment, she will try to flee or get away, as she is afraid to be seen and have a well developed agoraphobia.

She can be a fantastic companion and asset on any adventure with her skills in conjuring and magic, but might as well end up curled up in a corner going "Eeep" without any apparent reason...

Wot and the Abode: Wotatease is the second most (or possibly the most) powerful mage in the Abode, but her behaviour is far from appropriate for her status. As several other residents of the Abode she is a unique entity and as such have far more power than most can imagine. She is banned by the council of magic (not that she cares), and seen as a major disaster in most realities where she is known. Her stay in the Abode is actually supported secretly by the ACoM (which she knows and cares nothing about), not that this in any way have influenced the Old Magician, who only opened his doors for an old friend in need of a rest.

She have caused some smaller problem so far though:

The summoning of Saber: It is clear that both Wot and Tomomi had had to much to drink while celebrating the winter-solstice, and from what can be reconstructed (neither had any god recollection of the event, or so they claim) they had an argument about summoning. Basically Wot said she could summon anything, and Tomomi wondered if she could summon an heroic spirit she remembered from a anime she saw long ago, obviously saying that it would be impossible. Arguing about this they disappeared into the wine cellar (apparently to get more to drink) and when they did not come back for a long time Alma and Bel went down to check on the drunkards, only to find the cellar (and the sleeping girls) fiercely defended by a small blonde girl swinging a too large sword. Due to the unknown summoning form Saber (the spirit summoned) can neither return or be controlled (even if she normally follow what Old Magician, Tomomi and Wot say (in that order)), and as such have been given status as a regular denizen of the Abode. On top of that Tomomi stubbornly points out that it is not the Saber she had in mind and thus say Wot did not succeed. Wot however retorted that this was the one Saber available for summoning and that Tomomi was to unspecific...

The Cat: Why Wot summoned Candra's cat we will probably never know. It might have been just to please Candra, but in that case she perhaps should have thought about the size and shape of that cat before she summoned it. It have caused quite some annoyance for Shade and Opal (and several others, even if the Old Magician had a great laugh about the whole affair).

The unspeakable objects: That Wot have some weird ideas might be her problem, but the objects on display in her room can make the most freethinking person quite abashed and otherwise will convince anyone who ever thought that she was normal. Due to this her room is out of bounds (using a magic barrier) for most of the inhabitants of the Abode.
