Samhain World Mystery Play

A Vision Quest

Rt. Hon. Olivia Robertson, Co-Founder of the Fellowship of Isis writes:

“The idea is for people all over the world to write their own story in their own language and culture. The Mystery is Universal. The general theme is “The Weighing of the Heart” through the Goddess Ma’at of Justice.”

Act 1

Scene: The Old Abbey, Sacred Centre of the Noble Order of Tara

Hosts: The Noble Order of Tara, an Order of Chivalry

We remember all shamans and solitary workers who struggle against racial and cultural prejudice to do what is right including the Hopi, Siberian shamans, Mayans, African Tribes and all indigenous cultures throughout the world.

Presiding Goddess: Tara of the Stone of Destiny of South East Asia and Ireland

Each lay their hands on their own stone - The Left Hand for Loyalty, Right Hand Moral Courage

Invocation and Oracle of Uma, the Goddess of the Mountain by Priestess Hierophant Cait Brannigan and Priesthood

Act 2

Scene: The Druid Grove, Sacred Centre of the Druid Clan of Dana

Hosts: The Druid Clan of Dana

Invocation and calling for the protection of Nature, Divine Mother of us all by Archdruid Luke Eastwood

Act 3

Scene: The Temple of Isis, Clonegal Castle

Olivia will announce the revival of "The Order of the Helmet" which was begun by Sir Francis Bacon, inspired by Pallas Athena, to protect people’s personal integrity and conscience. We invoke the Goddess Pallas Athena. Olivia will invoke significant ancestors, including Sir Walter Raleigh and Sir Frances Bacon. People who wish can invoke ancestors significant to them. We are hoping for the gift of the Helmet which is the Halo of Light, and comes through the head. We hope to receive the enlightenment of the Inner Sun of Medusa which comes through the heart. We are blessed by the water from the Well of Truth of the Goddess Brigid.

Mystery Play led by Olivia - Love of all beings and existences: “to understand all is to forgive all.”

Grapes are shared by all in a spirit of generosity - Love comes from sharing.Thanks are given to the Deities.

We hope that this will be the first F.O.I. Annual World Mystery Play enacted through Inspiration and Creativity.
