Virginia Film Festival Screening Sells Out

This past weekend, Misa's Fugue played to a sold out crowd at the Virginia Film Festival in Charlottesville, VA. The event was attended by Director Sean Gaston, Producer Jennifer Goss and Principal Photographer Matthew Goss. The filmmakers took part in a special reception at Congregation Beth Israel on Saturday evening. Members of the Congregation learned about the film's history and also had the opportunity to interact with the filmmakers in a low-key setting.

Sunday morning, Gaston and Goss returned to CBI for a pre-screening breakfast and reception. The screening was then held in the midst of downtown at the Regal Theater at 1:15 PM. Following the screening, Gaston and Goss answered questions for the crowd in the theater and then held a follow-up session in the lobby. The attendees were also eager to make donations and receive copies of the DVD in exchange.

The festival was a resounding success and it was a bonus that it took place in such a beautiful setting. If you have the opportunity, be sure to check out next year's Virginia Film Festival!
