Misa's Fugue will begin it's film festival tour at this month's Philadelphia Film Festival. Misa's Fugue will screen at the historic Ritz at the Bourse Theatre in Philadelphia, PA on Monday, October 22nd at 12:00 p.m. (noon). "I think it's incredible that we will begin what hopefully be a long film festival run in our home state of Pennsylvania," said Misa's Fugue Director Sean D. Gaston.

Gaston did not apply to the festival because the submission deadline had passed by the time the film was finished, but because of a chance meeting with actor Michael Constantine (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) and his connection with producer Gary Goetzman (Silence of the Lambs, Philadelphia, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Band of Brothers) of Playtone Productions in LA, Misa's Fugue was given a special screening slot in the festival. Festival director Andrew Greenblatt, in an email to Gaston said, "our programming team would very much like to include Misa's Fugue as part of the educational program within the Philadelphia Film Festival."

The festival is planning on bussing in students from the Philadelphia area to screen the film. Gaston will be there for a post screening Q&A and Misa's Fugue editor Chad Haberstroh and screenwriter Zachary Houp plan to attend as well. In addition to these filmmakers, actor Michael Constantine will make an appearance on behalf of Misa's Fugue. For ticket information you can call the Ritz East at (215) 925-9700.
