This month, the Audience Award for Best Film has arrived in America from the Zagreb Jewish Film Festival in Croatia. The award shows that Misa's Fugue was chosen by those in attendance as the best film out of the 57 films that played as part of the festival during the last weekend in May. The film scored an average rating of 4.91 stars out of 5 stars by members in the screening audience.

The Misa's Fugue team is elated to win this award from a European Film Festival. The organizers of the festival reached out to the Misa's Fugue team to include the film and the producers are excited with the end result. Director Sean Gaston stated, "The country of Croatia is doing more and more each year to reflect upon the Holocaust. The inclusion of Misa's Fugue and other films about the Holocaust in this festival is a meaningful experience both for filmmakers and filmgoers and we are pleased to be a part of it. Winning this award was just an added bonus and we are honored to have been chosen by the audience in Zagreb."
