On Thursday, October 17, the Pennsylvania Council for the Social Studies (PCSS) awarded Misa's Fugue with the Best Social Studies Project Award for the Social Studies learning and inter-school collaboration that was fostered by the project. Director Sean Gaston and FAHS Social Studies teacher and team member, Paul Kochanasz, were on hand to receive the award. Producer Jennifer Goss was unable

to attend but Gaston thanked the group on her behalf.

Misa's Fugue was screened last year at PCSS's President's Dinner during their 2012 Conference in the Lehigh Valley. Gaston was excited to return to the group as an award recipient and stated, "We are grateful for the recognition of the efforts of our students, faculty and team members by Pennsylvania's pre-eminent Social Studies organization."
