watercolor studies 

Purpose:

To experiment with a variety of watercolor techniques;

To make connections between experimenting with watercolor techniques and learning to create your own landscape watercolor.

As we practiced using watercolor through different exercises while also learning landscape techniques and strategies some concepts I will keep in mind in the darkening of values as the object approaches the foreground, along with the building of layers and the values that come from that.
