Purpose:

To inspire you to be creative;

To practice drawing skills;

To draw on a regular basis;

To become familiar with a variety of artists and styles. 

Reflection 

I believe that this piece went beyond the standard with extra thought and effort with my idea, composition and use of materials. When working on this piece, I wanted to work on lights and darks and not having to go into detail as much. Focusing on my brushstrokes making sure they were larger in order only focus on dark and light. I also worked with canvas paper for the first time which added another challenge to this piece. Overall I enjoyed working on this piece in order to refine my skills and work with new materials.
