Reflection
I used varied-sized squares to incorporate visual movements into my artwork. I believe that utilizing varied-sized squares adds depth to the painting by making the area of emphasis appear to be coming out toward the viewer. This project taught me how different colors interact with one another, among other things. Along with the significance of squares with several broad sizes. I think my artwork will stand out from others that utilized muted shades since I used contrasting colors. One challenge I faced while creating this painting was having to start over after I was not happy with my first attempt. This challenges me not only to come up with another design but also to finish the painting by the due date. In my first attempt, I used the same size shape across the canvas which did not add any depth to the canvas. I also used very natural earthy tones that blended with each other. Because of these mistakes, I was able to learn from them in order to create depth and colors that stood out from one another. I'm satisfied with my final product since I was able to quickly reconstruct my strategy and come up with a completely new idea. In the end, I'm confident that my piece will stand out from other works and give the viewer movement.
