I hope that we work on a variety of projects utilizing various materials during the semester to develop new skills.I hope we can do more assignments like the realistic self-portrait and the half-portrait so we can practice sketching facial expressions and learning about human anatomy. I also hope that we will be able to paint landscapes from life or from a previous photograph. 

Improving my artistic abilities in a variety of areas, such as anatomy, architectural designs, and landscapes, are some ambitions I have for this class and this semester. I'm eager to sharpen my abilities by working with new materials that I might not have previously used, such as oil paints oil pastels, and watercolors. 

At home, I work in a studio that is a smaller room apart from the house's busy areas. There is plenty of natural light in the space. I enjoy spending time in an inviting area for creativity where there are old paintings and photos all around me to help inspire me.
