There are different levels from simple to complex ways of making Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality. Some simple apps like SnapChat will augment the image of with virtual images and models. Some require special hardware such as Apple iOS or Oculus Quest, where as others can be enjoyed on any recent smartphone with Google Cardboard headset.

Because we do not all have Apple devices we will use apps which are compatible with Chromebooks.
We will learn the basics with CoSpaces but Senior Digital Tech students (12-13DTHM) will use more advanced text based coding, compatible with Oculus.
You can make your own 360 Photosphere images using Google Street View App or use a 360 camera to take them.
You can make your own in Photoshop or Pixlr.com. Design the 360 image with 3600 pixels by 1800 pixels so 1 degree = 10 pixels, (Equirectangular have 2:1 ratio), then you can resize them, e.g. 4096px by 2048px
