Artificial Intelligence

It is used all the time to do a range of jobs, from video games & chat bots to Siri and Google Help understanding what you say. Machine Learning and Data Science is a fast growing industry that helps to process vast amounts of 'Big Data' from online shopping and social media.

AI can be really helpful but we have to be aware that if we are not careful it can amplify bias and prejudice.

Task 1)

Create a slideshow presentation "The Benefits / Dangers of A.I." to keep notes / screenshots and record your progress / thoughts as you learn about A.I. and make your own A.I. apps. On the first slide, start by adding: a title, your name and write a definition of A.I. in your own words (don't look it up yet, use your prior knowledge).

Try it with your own old photos / images of people you recognise (as long as you have permission of the person - or for those who have passed away, permission from their family, e.g. you must ask a parent if you can use a grandparent's photo)
