How Do Computers Work?

Year 7-8 Computer Science intro

CS is about more than just coding. It's about thinking and problem solving and how to use algorithms and computers to help us to solve problems.

Digital Technologies are sometimes call IT, ICT, Computing, DTEC, Digital Media and Computer Science.

This is a taster course is only one hour per week. You'll learn many things. This complements the 7-8 STEM course and leads on to 9-10 Digital Technology.

3A) AI [Artificial Intelligence]

Using Minecraft Edu to introduce coding and Computer Science, can you tell your Agent to build with code?

Use Hour of Code 2019 (A.I.) to write code to prevent forest fires, save the village & restore the forest.

3 TIPS:

  1. right-click on NPC (non-player character) to talk.

  2. Click the 'immersive reader' icon.

  3. Press 'C' to open the code editor.
