亞洲榴槤大亨法咪咪利用元宇宙平台具備的持久化及去中心化思維，建立在線的三維虛擬空間，於 HTC VIVERSE 創造首個元宇宙空間「Fametaverse」：在這座無限符號的島嶼領地上，重新檔案化自2019年以來數個跨國沉浸式空間裝置，包括：榴槤美術館（2019）、榴槤健身房（2020）、榴槤製藥廠（2020），與法咪咪快閃店（2022）於其中。
「Fametaverse」猶如一座頂級又浮誇的私人美術館、遊樂園、渡假村，完成法咪咪「榴槤宇宙」的第一步。透過虛擬世界介面，將法咪咪世界的遊戲性與參與性，拓展至元宇宙的社群連結與媒體化展演，對法咪咪來說：FAMETAVERSE！ a bit of your universe！
FAMEME, a durian tycoon from tropical Asia, employs the ideas of persistence and decentralization, which are essential to the metaverse platform, to create a three-dimensional virtual space online, “Fametaverse,” as the first metaverse space at HTC VIVERSE. On the island as a territory of infinite symbols, several transnational immersive space installations have been created since 2019—including the Museum of Durian (2019), Durian Exercise Room (2020), Durian Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (2020), and Durian Duty to Be Free (2022)—are rearchived.
Fametaverse, the first step taken of FAMEME’s “Durian Universe,” is like the top-ranked private museum, amusement park, or resort of flamboyant fame. The project adopts virtual-world interfaces, further bringing the playful game and interactive engagement of FAMEME into the networked communities and hyper-mediated performance in the metaverse, as what FAMEME celebrates: “FAMETAVERSE! a bit of your universe!”
此計畫於2022年由臺灣當代文化實驗場「超限社會」委託製作。現正於台北市立美術館兒藝中心「跟你說個故事：很久很久以後」展出至2023年8月27日。
The project is commissioned by the exhibition “The Unrestricted Society” at Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab in 2022. Currently, it is shown in the exhibition “Telling a Story with You: Once upon a Time in the Future” at Taipei Fine Arts Museum until August 27th, 2023.
