9/25/2021 Our Next stop is Teton National Park and we’re staying right in Downtown Jackson, WY. Little did we know that we had arrived for the very last time they’d have their weekend Farmer’s Market for the season!

We found this lady from Idaho who makes jams from stuff she grows herself and it was GREAT stuff. She had a dandelion jam that would not believe! Sound crazy? Yep! ….but believe me when I tell you it’s fantastic!

There is this quaint little toy store in town and Grant was not going to let us pass it by. On the way back out, he insisted on having his picture taking with this bear out front.

9/27/2021 Today is our first day in Teton National Park and we’ve got a late-ish start, so we’re just doing a small driving tour to see the place. Here we’ve stopped at Jenny Lake to see what all the hype is about and watch the sun go down.

9/28/2021 We are back at Jenny Lake but this time we’re on the boat ride across that takes you to the trail head for Inspiration Point. You can hike to the trail head, but that supposedly adds a 5 mile walk around the lake…..soooooo, boat it is!

……oh yeah, here’s a fun fact: It’s the last day of the season they are operating the boat and it is W_I_N_D_Y on the lake. In this case, windy means the water is choppy. You might even call it “Heavy Chop”.

We thought we were going to go to the Jenny Lake Visitor Center, but we were wrong, it’s closed for the season. We have managed to find more wind though. We are professionals at finding the windiest spot possible.

Back in Jackson, Grace and I are walking Bear and there were these two elk statues. They resemble elks, but as you can see they aren’t the most realistic things in the world. That is NOT what Bear thinks though. He was SUPER skeptical of this “Wildlife”. His nose finally touched it and he JUMPED backwards!

9/29/2021 Today’s ranger recommended outing is taking us Taggert Lake. This is a great little hike through the trees to get to a decent sized lake with some great Teton views.
