On 11/09/2018, this photograph below was taken approximately 1 mile from the place we've called home for a very long time. This would be the first time we'd hook up the minivan for this journey and what we would effectively call "Day 1". The goal? Who knows? This has been home for so long, maybe it's just time to see something else. Maybe it’s just one of those "why not" type of adventures? Maybe there is simply too much out there and NOT seeing it is a tragedy? There is a certainty though and that is the fact that we are very fortunate that the stars have aligned almost perfectly and presented us with the "gift" of simply being able to make this happen. It's basically rude to turn down a gift, so away we go!
