Actions your character takes have consequences. Any plots which involve a character breaking the laws must be communicated to and vetted by the Alpha players beforehand.
Kol society is strict, and punishments are often swift and violent. In almost every case, repeated transgressions will result in increasingly severe punishments, up to and including ritual execution, even if not specified below.
The Alva’s word is absolute. Wolves who publicly argue with, speak out against, insult or defy the direct order of the Alva will be punished.
Consequences for disrepcting or disrespecting the Alva vary. Malaysia is a prideful and unpredictable leader, and circumstances matter. Small offenses will result in a fierce verbal warning. Major offenses or repeated offenses will result in demotion or exile.
No harm may come to the Alva.
Consequence for harming or attempting to harm the Alva: ritual execution at Remiel.
The Kol are a unit and must not turn on one another. Only the Alva may decide the fate of a traitor. Kol should not take punishments into their own paws.
It is forbidden to deliberately kill a packmate, without the permission or approval of the Alva.
Consequence for attempted or successful murder of a packmate: exile.
Disloyalty is the ultimate sin. There is no room for the disloyal or weak among the Kol. Wolves who publicly express disdain for the Alva or the Kol way of life must be reported and punished. A wolf who protects the disloyal and disguises their folly is confirmation that they too are disloyal, and they will be similarly punished.
Consequences for sheltering or proctecting a traitor will be equal to the punishment given to the traitor.
All Kol must act in the best interests of the pack. Unusual activity, news from afield, or information about visions, dreams and abilities must be reported to the Alva as soon as possible.
Consequences for with-holding information: Verbal warning. Repeated offenses result in demotion.
The pack hierarchy must be respected. A wolf may not disrespect or disobey a wolf of superior rank, even if of a different trade.

No wolf, regardless of rank or trade, may enter the sacred temple of Remiel without express permission of and escort of the Alva.

Only ranked Adnos are permitted to stand upon the stairs leading to the temple.
Consequences for trespassing on the stairs: verbal warning. Second offense leads to demotion to rank below current. If already Varen, complete the Kol tradition of Atleisti.
A wolf may not perform the duties of another trade in which they are not ranked. Some trades may assist one another, but ranked wolves should only perform the tasks they are trained in.
Consequences for performing duties of other trades: Verbal warning. Repeat offenses will result in demotion to Varen, as it is evident the accused does not comprehend the duties of their trade.
A wolf may not remain a Varen for more than six months.
Consequences: Exile.
Kol may not take outsiders as mates.
Consequence for union with outsiders: Travel priveleges removed, accused is confined to the territory. If ranked, demotion to Varen. If Varen, complete the Kol tradition of Atleisti. If any attempt is made to reunite with the outsider, exile. Any young resulting from such a union will be removed from the parent(s) and raised by a trusted guardian appointed by the Alva.
Kol may not breed without express permission from the Alva. Varen may not breed at all. To bring new life to the Kol is an honour reserved only for the loyal, and not all requests will be approved. Kol may not take mates from outside the pack.

Consequence for desecration: Demotion to Varen. If Varen, complete the Kol tradition of Atleisti.
Varen may not accompany the rite of the fallen to the Velestone, even if the deceased is of their own family.
Wolves who attempt to do so will be forcibly restrained and removed.
Wolves must abide by their rules of travel and may not cross the borders unless their rank and trade permits it, or they have been specially ordered to by the Alva.
Consequence for travelling without permission: verbal warning. Second offense leads to demotion to rank below current. If already Varen, complete the Kol tradition of Atleisti.
