Svajone is not an open world roleplay, but an interactive story. The group follows a main storyline and the objective of the game is to have your characters react, respond and become involved in said story. Character plots should ultimately tie into the main story, rather than work against it.
Characters' choices can and do effect the trajectory of the story which is why it is important to be aware of the choices you are having your characters make, and to be considerate of how those choices can cause ripple effects across the entire game canon.
Svajone has no place for players who are willfully ignorant of the world lore and disrespectful of the space we have created. Choosing to join our group means that you intend to become immersed in our world, not disrupt and destroy it.
Players who cannot work respectfully within the boundaries of a lore heavy group like Svajone should reconsider their membership to Svajone. We are not an open world roleplay game and we cannot accommodate complete and total plot freedom. While we will endeavour to accommodate as many personal plotlines as we can, in joining Svajone players understand that on occasions where said personal plotline will disrupt the world lore or group wide plot trajectory, the administration has the right to refuse.
Not every character will love and respect their Alpha, and not every character will follow the letter of law. Svajone is happy to try to accommodate plots which require characters to defy laws and cause harm to their fellow wolf - with one firm rule. You must communicate with us in advance of progressing any plotline or commencing work on any submission which breaks severe consequence laws of your characters pack or which has a direct effect on the wider game plot.
Never simply assume the reaction of an Alpha character to your character's actions. This is a form of powerplay, and not only is against our community standards, but poses a significant threat to the operation of our game.
Any plotline which breaks pack laws, affects the relationships between packs, disrupts group "event" RPs, or adds to pre-established canon (flashbacks) must be discussed with staff and alpha players in advance of commencing. This is non-negotiable.
A non exhaustive list of examples is below.
Murder - be that of packmates or wolves from another pack
Violence between members of different factions
Trespassing / crossing the borders of another pack territory
Transferring your character from one pack to another
Expanding your character's family tree by retroactively adding new relatives
Retroactively adding to previously established events, be they in game or historical, in such a way which critically alters the established canon. This could be either by fundamentally changing the event, or adding nuances to the circumstance which changes how the event would have been received by others.
Remember that some packs are more strictly regulated than others. Always check the pack information before commencing a plotline.
