In Svajone, there is no limit on the number of characters you can have!
Your second character is free to create, but from your third character onward, you must purchase new character slots from the shop.
You may also use a Free Character Token, if you have one.
Each player may only create one new character per calendar month.
It can be any time in the month, and doesn’t need to be exactly 30 days apart. You could make one character on October 28th and another on November 3rd, but then be unable to make another until December.
Pups born in-game and character transfers are exempt, in that if you made a character on October 10th and then win a puppy tryout that will be born on October 25th, you can make the puppy character at the expense of your next month slot. In this example, you would skip your November slot, and only be able to make another character in December.
You don't need to note the group for your second character, because they are free, but you should send a note from character 3 onwards as you need to spend souls to purchase new character spaces.
New players must wait 3 months before making a second character, and from then on the usual rules apply!
You must note the group first, and wait for acceptance before submitting the character to the galleries or uploading any artwork of that character.
Do not submit to the gallery at the same time as purchase. We are not always able to process applications immediately. Wait for approval before you submit the application to the gallery.
If you need feedback, or the character is a result of a shop purchase (like the Pureblooded purchase) then you should also note the group, even if it is your second character.
Remember that you can only create new characters once you have completed activity checks for all of your existing characters, and only once a month.
Staff will thoroughly check every new character application to ensure no mistakes have been made and no rules have been broken. Your design will also be checked to ensure it falls within the parameters of semi-realism that we allow.
