Technique and the Tool
Understanding that when we bring ideas to life, there are many learning pathways taking place.
Work Day: Another focused work day. We spoke with students about trying to be 98% done with final product by Wednesday. A short discussion and then we set them free to get their work done.
This is was also the last run of materials so after a weekend to get some supplies they now have everything they need(fingers crossed)
Prepare for unexpected problem solving
This was wonderful. In this journey we have focused on problem solving and staying solution focused in our mindset. So one day when it came to clean up a student wrapped his shoes in duct tape to easily pick up the small scraps scattered on the floor.
And just like that a small spark of the work we are doing being applied in the moments of life.
I just love this!
Role Reversal
A powerful moment where we share with students the teacher side of things with standards and progressions to help them understand the standards at hand. This discussion will help them enhance their story of their learning journey and how we were able to reach all the required standards AND more!
