Day 3

Project Planning Conversation

Today students share their project planning document with the educators. We sit in a circle with no objects between us to feel connected and dialed in. It is a conversation with each team. No judgement or telling them what to do, but providing prompts for conversation, prompts to consider as a team, and allowing them to revise their ideas.

An idea that cannot be articulated is an idea not fully understood.....yet

Ideas that don't work.....yet!

Building conversational competence through panel presentations: LISTEN, BUILD off of each other, add VALUE to the conversation, ILLUSTRATE understanding with examples and quotes…becoming CONFIDENT and COMFORTABLE…

Presenting the plan…what problem are you trying to solve and how do you know it’s a problem? Staying solution focused and justifying with research…here, every idea is a good idea…be vulnerable, be creative…

Conversation circle of trust. Space is so vital along with intentional layout. To create powerful conversation remove any possible walls and keep things open.

Spoken words are instrumental to understaind ideas. Being able to articulate ideas in our heads in a way that others can understand.
