2019 Petition to Oppose Text Amendment
The online petition is a good way to enlist participation by people who object to NU's expansion of the type and number of events in the U2 District.
A petition on paper may be even better, since it includes the names, actual signatures and addresses of the signers, and the original notarized written documents are handed in to the City.
Even if you sign online, please also sign the physical petition if one of our signature collectors approaches you.
As of October 23, 2019 we have gathered "physical" signatures from over 850 residents and an additional 59 signatures by businesses, 54 of which are located in the Central Street business corridor.
