500' Special Use Notice - 1996

February 12, 1996 Special Use notification for NU's Ameritech proposal

To apply for a Special Use in the U2 area, the Evanston code required NU to notify neighbors within 500' of the venue. This notice includes Wilmette residents. They have a right to speak at the Plan Commission but have no voice at other city committee meetings.

The addresses in this notification are part of documents presented during the 1996 hearings. The list of addresses reveals the following:

415: Total number of notices delivered.

390: delivered to Wilmette and Evanston addresses (89 to Wilmette).

15: delivered to other Illinois towns: Arlington Heights, Chicago, Glenview, Kenilworth, Lincolnwood, Northbrook, Park Ridge, Rockford, Skokie and Wheeling

9: delivered to cities in other states: CA, IN, NC, NJ, NY, TX, VA, WA and WI
