Science Department Goals:

At the heart of our department's mission are two essential goals that guide our endeavors:

1. Nurturing Scientific Mindsets: Our primary objective is to cultivate scientific curiosity, inquiry, and practical knowledge among our students. In an era marked by rapid change and globalisation, we believe in preparing our students for the challenges of the 21st century by equipping them with the tools they need to think critically and adapt to an ever-evolving world. Through our curriculum, we aim to instill a deep appreciation for scientific inquiry and innovation.

2. Igniting the Spark of Science: We are passionate about sharing the thrill and value of Science with our students. We understand that the magic of Science lies in its real-world applications, and so we strive to make the study of Science not only educational but also immensely enjoyable. Through hands-on experiences and innovative teaching methods, we hope to show our students that Science is not just a subject; it's a dynamic force that shapes our world.

Let's take a closer look at some of the exciting programs and activities that have defined our department this year:

πŸ” Science Research Programme 🌟

This year, we continued to offer the Science Research Programme to selected Secondary 1 to 3 students who have demonstrated a keen interest in and have the aptitude for scientific research. This program provides a unique opportunity for these budding scientists to actively engage in research projects independently and responsibly, guided by our dedicated Science Research Mentors. The programme's goal is to immerse students in the culture of research, fostering scientific inquiry and innovation. Our research teams have actively participated in various Science Research competitions, where they shared their findings with the broader scientific community.
