女性童軍領袖
Female Scouters
早在1910年代，香港童軍初創的時候已有女性擔任領袖的角色。1914年，史堅娜小姐在山頂學校成立小狼團。另外一直支持童軍運動的雷拿夫人，在1915年隨著從軍的丈夫調動離開時獲頒發女領袖章(Lady Worker Badge)。早年她們大多出任小狼領䄂，並且只能參加小狼支部的木章訓練班。隨著深資童軍、樂行童軍及其他支部開放予女性成員加入，現時每個支部也有女領袖參與。由於要生兒育女及照顧家庭等原因，令女性領袖較難長期連續服務。為了向這些默默在背後付出努力的女性領袖致敬，特別展出一些早期的女性領袖照片，向她們致以崇高的敬意。
Female Scouters served the Scouts of Hong Kong as early as in 1910s. Miss SKINNER formed a Wolf Cub Pack for Peak School students in 1914 and Mrs RAYNER was awarded a Lady Worker Badge by Headquarters for her contribution to Hong Kong Scouting when she left the Colony with her husband Lt. Col. RAYNER. At the early days, Female Scouters could only serve in Wolf Cub Pack but there is no restrictions nowadays. However many of them could not serve in their Scout Groups for a longer period due to own family needs.
