香港童軍紀念郵票 

COMMEMORATIVE STAMPS OF HONG KONG SCOUTING

為紀念特別和具歷史性的時刻,總會與香港郵政曾合作發行三套童軍紀念郵票。


To commemorate special events and key milestones of Hong Kong Scouting, the Scout Association of Hong Kong together with the Hongkong Post have issued 3 sets of commemorative stamps.

1971香港童軍鑽禧紀念 (發行日期:1971年7月23日)

郵票設計

為誌香港童軍鑽禧紀念,香港郵政發行了枚特別郵票。畫面以「60」為主題,以童軍徽號及「1911-1971」字樣,顏色方面分別以代表幼童軍的黃色、童軍的綠色及深資童軍的紫紅色印製。因「60」與英文「GO」相似,亦意味著「Go Ahead」的意思,象徵香港童軍運動本著過往的經驗,勇往直前。 



1971 Diamond Jubilee of Scouting in Hong Kong (Issue date: 23 July 1971)

Stamp Design

To mark the 60th anniversary of Hong Kong Scouting, the Hongkong Post issued a set of special stamps. The main body of the stamp pictured with an Arabic Number “60”, Scout emblem and "1911-1971". Yellow for Cub Scout, green for Scout and purplish red for Venture Scout was used in each stamp as the main colour. Since the number “60” looked just like an English word “GO”, it carried the meaning of “Go Ahead” which signified the continuous enhancement of Scouting in Hong Kong. 

特別郵戳

香港郵政於屯門鑽禧大露營營地設立臨時郵局,使用特別郵戳「JAMBOREE P.O.」蓋銷由營地寄出的郵件,據估計數量達兩萬件之多。



Special Postmark

The Hongkong Post offered temporary postal service in the campsite of the Diamond Jubilee Jamboree in Tuen Mun with a special postmark “JAMBOREE P.O.”/ The amount of post handled by this temporary post office was estimated 20,000.

首日封的設計亦見心思,左上角的童軍徽及「童軍鑽禧紀念」的標題清楚表達了是次特別紀念的主體。 



First Day Cover

The Scout emblem and the event name “Diamond Jamboree” at the upper corner on the left of the First Day Cover highlighted the feature of the Jamboree. 

1998香港童軍 (發行日期:1998年7月26日)

郵票設計

香港郵政於1998年再度發行一套四枚不同面額的特別郵票,以推廣童軍運動。四枚郵票描繪童軍不同支部及童軍活動,各配以「日行一善」一字,中央以童軍繩及繩結將「日行一善」連成一體,表揚童軍服務精神。 



1998 Hong Kong Scouts (Issue : 26 July 1998)

Stamp Design

In 1998, the Hongkong Post issued a set of special stamps (of four denominations) in appreciation of Hong Kong Scouts’ contribution to society in the past 87 years. This set of stamps depicted different Sections and activities of Hong Kong Scouting. Each stamp carried a Chinese character. Different Scout knots were used to link the Chinese characters as a whole which contributed to the meaning of “Do a Good Turn”. 

特別郵戳

郵票選定於世界童軍組織第19屆亞太區童軍會議在本港舉行的開幕首日(即7月26日)推出發售,並於會場(香港童軍中心)設立臨時郵局,同時於全港各郵局提供即時蓋印服務。是次的郵戳上弧寫有「香港」及「Hong Kong」,下弧則為日期,郵戳中心用了總會會徽。 



Special Postmark

To coincide with the opening of the 19th Asia –Pacific Regional Scout Conference, World Organization of the Scout Movement, that taken place in Hong Kong, the stamps were officially on sale on the first day of the Conference (i.e 26 July). A temporary post office was set up at the venue (Hong Kong Scout Centre) to deliver postal service. Hand-back date-stamping service was offered to the public at all post offices. The Emblem of the Scout Association of Hong Kong characterized the postmark at the centre of the circle, highlighted by the Chinese and English words of “HONG KONG” on the upper curve and the stamping date on the lower. 



首日封

首日封以總會會徽為主幹,中間的箭頭為童軍之父貝登堡勳爵的肖像。肖像之下有隻互相緊握的手,代表童軍相處如手足,上下團結一心。另外有三個章,分別為會員章、副舵手章及高級航空章,分別代表童軍、海童軍及空童軍,同時郵票上亦有各支部的童軍成員。 

First Day Cover

The Emblem of the Scout Association of Hong Kong acted as the main body of this First Day Cover with a portrait of the founder of Scouting, The Lord Baden-Powell, to be the central arrow, Under the portrait were the four tightly-held hands which symbolized the united spirit of the Scouts. The three badges namely Membership, Coxswain’s Mate and Senior Airman represented the Scout, the Sea Scout and the Air Scout in Hong Kong. Members of the five Sections were also pictured. 

2007年世界童軍運動百周年 (發行日期:2007年3月1日)

郵票設計

套四款的「2007年世界童軍運動百周年」特別郵票,中間的數字標誌童軍運動的發展,四款郵票均以淺灰色作背景顏色,分別印上貝登堡勳爵肖像、總會會徽、繩結及童軍步操,並配以童軍常見的事物如營火、指南針、背囊及帳幕,讓大眾透過這套郵票重温世界及香港童軍運動的重要成就。 



2007 Centenary of World Scouting (Issue date: 1 March 2007)

Stamp Design

A set of special stamps commemorating the Centenary of World Scouting were issued in 2007. The stamps came in four denominations. The number in the centre of each stamp marked a milestone in Scouting. The four stamps share a light grey background and individually feature a portrait of Lord Baden-Powell, the emblem of the Scout Association of Hong Kong, a Scout knot and Scouts on parade. The integral parts of Scouting – campfire, compass, rucksack and tent – were also illustrated, which give a stretch on the achievements of Scouting. 

特別郵戳

2007年3月1日,香港郵政於香港童軍中心及各郵政局為所有正式首日封,以及註明首日封,有本地地址的自製首日封,提供即時人手蓋特別郵戳服務。郵戳的設計以亞拉伯數字「100」為背景,「2007年世界童軍運動百周年」的中英文字句為題,配以旅巾及「香港 HONG KONG」作點綴。 



Special Postmark

A hand-back date-stamping service was provided on 1 March 2007 at the Hong Kong Scout Centre and all post offices, for official as well as privately-made covers bearing the first day of issue indication and a local address. A special postmark was introduced. With the Arabic Number “100” as the background, the postmark showed Chinese and English versions of the theme “2007 Centenary of World Scouting”, featuring by a scarf and “HONG KONG” in Chinese and English . 

首日封

首日封畫上八款香港童軍專科徽章,涵蓋「興趣」、「技能」及「服務」三大組別,象徵童軍活動包羅萬有,鼓勵童軍學習不同的技能與知識,促進德、智、體、群、美五育的發展。另外一枚徽章,設計與郵票的熨銀數字呼應,點出世界童軍成立百載誌慶。 



First Day Cover

The First Day Cover featured eight Scout Proficiency Badges in three different streams, namely “Interest”, “Pursuit” and “Service”. These symbolized the diversified activities of the Scouts for their physical, intellectual, social, spiritual and aesthetic development through skills and knowledge acquisition. One additional badge, which echoed the design of the hot-foiled numbers, was presented on the cover to highlight the theme – the joyful occasion of the 100th Anniversary of World Scouting.
