LexiComp
Student Bottom Line: A detailed resource used by many clinicians to become familiar with commonly used drugs. This resource is used for dosing, determining safety in different patient populations, compatibility with other drugs, and general facts about the medication. Lexicomp is a very diverse resource with many different indexes and clinical tools available making it a student favourite. It is important to keep in mind this is an American resource so be sure to cross-reference dosing with a Canadian resource.

Student Bottom Line: This is a great tool to become familiar with the most up to date evidence available to healthcare professionals. Additionally, this resource ensures you understand what the evidence behind the recommendations is (ex. is it coming from a meta-analysis, a randomized control trial, or is it expert opinion).
It is important to keep in mind this is an American resource so ensure to cross reference dosing with a Canadian resource.
