Qur'aanic Chapter 103:
'1. By the Time,
2. Indeed, mankind is in doomed mode.
3. Except for those who believe, do righteous deeds, enjoin truth, and enjoin patience.'
The Chapter starts with a divine oath. The oath is taken over time. Allah Almighty has thus given time great importance. An individual's life on this earth is the fixed time allotted to him/her. If he/she does not utilise the allotted time to adorn himself/herself with belief in Allah, doing righteous deeds, standing by the truth come what may, and exercising patience in all adverse circumstances, he/she is doomed indeed! He/she is liable to lose the prospect of everlasting life of peace and joy in the Hereafter!!
