Verse22:5: 'O mankind! If you are in doubt about Resurrection, then it is We Who created you from dust, then from ejaculated trickles of semen, then from clinging, leech-like, fertilized ova, then from embryonic lumps, partly formed and partly not formed, to make things clear to you. We then cause you to remain in your mothers' wombs for a time fixed as We will. Then We bring you out as infants to develop into mature adults. And some of you die young and some reach an abject age of forgetting things learnt. And you see the barren earth stirred to life, when We send down water over it, with all kinds of beautiful vegetation rising and growing on it.'
In other words, Allah Almighty is telling mankind that as He is so capable of creating a human being the first time, He can create that human being again. And mankind does witness vegetation being resurrected on barren land after rains!
Resurrection is a vital link in the chain of Islam.
