Verse10:108: 'Say, "O mankind! Verily, the Truth has come to you from your Lord. So, whoever gets guided to it, that guidance is for one's own self. And whoever goes astray from it, that estrangement reflects on one's own self. And I am not responsible for what you do!" '
It is the Prophet who is commanded to address mankind thus, in the above Verse. The address is to mankind of this age, as it has been to mankind of all ages since the revelation of the Qur'aan to the Last Day.
The Truth to which the Prophet is directed to beckon mankind is the Qur'aan.
It is as if the Prophet is telling all to believe in and follow the Qur'aan for their own good. He takes no responsibility for their good if they do not!
How can the Muslims then say that the Prophet will intercede on their behalf, on Judgement Day, even when they fail to follow the Qur'aan?
