The subject is the Arabic title of the 108th Chapter of the Qur'aan. It is the shortest Chapter thereof. I have selected it for studying why even this Chapter consisting of only 3 short Verses is inimitable - why no human being can produce the like of it, as asserted in the Qur'aan (Verse 10:38).
Let us first study what this shortest Chapter of the Qur'aan says:
WE have indeed provided a lot (the kawthar) for you. So, offer salah - and animal sacrifice - for your Lord alone. Your enemy is the one cut off from posterity and well-being.
The background for this divine Revelation is that the Prophet's own uncle Abu Lahab had turned into his staunchest enemy when the Prophet declared his Prophethood. And when the Prophet's infant son died this uncle of his (along with other disbelievers) chided him for being without a son to carry on his legacy. Now it so happened that at Abu Lahab's ignominious death some years later, his own sons deserted him! So, this Qur'aanic Chapter did a foretelling that no human being could do. Also, although the Prophet was facing a difficult stage of his life at the time this Qur'aanic Chapter was revealed to him, history is witness to the glory he has been conferred with, in his later life, and even after his death. His followers have spread all over the world and their number is increasing day by day! Such is the Kawther he has been conferred with. This is the 2nd prophecy the Surah has brought to fruition. No human being could have accomplished such prophecy so grandly.
This apart, the Surah is replete with mathematical codes no man could ever achieve. Refer this video: Link https://youtu.bent ee/ktYm_gtyjmc.
The video relates many, many mathematical codes inherent in this Surah, but let me relate here one such code. The entire Surah is made up of just 10 Arabic words. And every one of the 3 Verses in it is made up of 10 different letters of the 28 in the Arabic alphabet. The probability of such a thing happening simultaneously is one in millions.
So, there could be no possibility of any human performing such an impossible feat. The Surah is thus inimitable, and therefore divine!
