In this series of Verses addressed to believers directly, we now come to Verse 59:18. As translated, it read: 'O you who believe! Fear Allah, and let every soul ponder what it has sent forth for the morrow! And do fear Allah! Allah is indeed aware of all that you do!!'
It should not take us long to realise that 'the morrow' in the Verse stands for the Hereafter. The Verse, in other words, tells us to ponder as to what good deeds we are doing to deserve a place in Paradise in the Hereafter!
Unfortunately, most of us do not think about the Hereafter at all. We think only about our morrows in this uncertain world!!
