'O mankind! Verily, the Messenger has come to you with the Truth from your Lord. So, believe! Good for you!! And if you don't, then, mind you, everything, that is in the heavens and the earth, is for Allah! And Allah is Omniscient, Omnipotent and Just.' That is Verse 4:170, as translated.
The Truth, mentioned in the 2nd sentence, is spelt out in the last 2 sentences of the translation above.
So, to believe is the only option for a human being to attain salvation!
