Distros
81-90Manjaro
Last update 2024Manjaro is a professionally made operating system that is a suitable replacement for Windows or MacOS. Multiple Desktop Environments are available through our Official and Community editions.
This edition is supported by the Manjaro ARM team and comes with LXQT desktop.
LXQT is a lightweight QT based desktop, which is the result of a merge between LXDE and Razor-QT.
Manjaro is an accessible, friendly, and open-source operating system. Providing all the benefits of cutting-edge software combined with a focus on getting started quickly, automated tools to require less manual intervention, and help readily available when needed, Manjaro is suitable for both newcomers and experienced computer users.
Unlike proprietary operating systems you have full control over your hardware without restrictions. This makes Manjaro a powerful Operating System ideal in home, work, and development environments.
It is easily possible to run many popular Windows applications using compatibility software such as Wine, PlayonLinux or Proton via Steam. The examples given here are far from comprehensive!
Manjaro represents a perfect middle-ground for those who want good performance, full control, and cutting-edge software but also a degree of software stability.

RaspArch
Last update 2023RaspArch is a “remaster” of Arch Linux ARM. The original compressed system is of about 230 MB. After I have added the LXDE Desktop environment, PulseAudio, Firefox, Yaourt and Gimp the system increased a lot. RaspArch is a “ready-to-go” ARM system. It must be installed on a Raspberry Pi 4, Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, Raspberry Pi 3 Model B or Raspberry Pi 2 Model B computer.

Amibian
Last update 2020Amibian is what you need to transform your Raspberry Pi into an Amiga.
It is a very lightweight sd card image - 2GB and up.
It is made to give you the best Amiga experience, without having an actual Amiga.
Remember, Re-live, Re-discover the joy of Amiga easily, with cheep hardware and minimum effort.
Based on Uae4arm by Chips and Amiberry by Dimitris Panokostas.
Midnight Commander inside for file managing.
USB support (fat32) use your files directly from your flashdrive on your Amiga.
Internet (wired & WiFi) - browse the internet like its 1996! Slightly faster though.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
Download Amibian to your computer.Download the Software needed to write Amibian to your sd card, if you don´t have it already.
Download a program for unpacking Amibian if you dont have any, Amibian comes packed in a .rar file.
Unpack Amibian and "Flash" the image to a sd card (2gb or bigger).
Insert the sd card into your Raspberry Pi and plug it in.
IMPORTANT STEPS @ YOUR FIRST BOOT
Exit "uae4arm" or "amiberry"
Type into the terminal raspiconf and hit enter (a menu will pop up)
Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate and Select Expand filesystem
Use the arrow keys on your keyboard and Select exit the menu, enter/accept Yes to reboot.
This operation makes all sd card empty space accessible for files storing.
WHERE TO COPY and FIND YOUR FILES
Once Amibian has restarted, you can plug in your usb flash drive containing Amiga files and configure "uae4arm" or "amiberry" to run the files directly from usb.
Usb flash drive can be found in /media/root/ directory.
If you want to copy your Amiga files to the sd card, then you need to exit "uae4arm" or "amiberry" and type into the terminal mc and hit enter, that opens up a the Midnight Commander file manager (it works only with keyboard, no mouse is supported)
Plug in your usb flashdrive and copy your files to the right places. /root/amibian/amiga_files
PROLONG SD INTEGRITY WITH SHUTDOWN AND RESTART COMMANDS
To shut down the system type in terminal 1 and press enter.
To reboot the system type in terminal 2 and press enter.
Always shut down properly by using the shutdown command in terminal, for prolonging sd card lifetime and reducing the risk of read errors on the sd card.
NOTES ON EMULATOR CONFIGURATION
If you want Amibian to start as an Amiga directly then you need to uncheck "start in gui " box in "uae4arm" or "amiberry" and make the premade configurations bootable by installing harddrives or floppys and save it. Or just leave the virtual floppys empty, and you will end up with the corresponding Amiga boot screen, according to the kickstart file selected.
You Need to check the paths to your kick start ROMs after you have copied your files. Then you must press "rescan paths" from within the emulator GUI. The emulators will not work if you do not do this!
Follow these instructions, and in a few seconds you can have a piece of history, retro and fanciness, on your favorite screen, tv, monitor etc. And its quite portable too...

Cent OS
Last update 2020The CentOS Linux distribution is a stable, predictable, manageable and reproducible platform derived from the sources of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). We are now looking to expand on that by creating the resources needed by other communities to come together and be able to build on the CentOS Linux platform. And today we start the process by delivering a clear governance model, increased transparency and access. In the coming weeks we aim to publish our own roadmap that includes variants of the core CentOS Linux.

Supla OS
Last update 2021(IoT) Internet of Things is now coming!
Building automation systems available on the market are usually very complex, closed and expensive. In many cases they must be installed on the very early stages of house construction. SUPLA is simple, open and free of charge. It gives an opportunity to build elements based on RaspberryPI, Arduino or ESP8266 platforms and then join them either through LAN or WiFi. Through SUPLA you can, among others, control the lighting, switch on and off household appliances and media, open and shut gates and doors, or control room temperature. All the above can be done with just touch of a finger. SUPLA is available from any place on Earth if you just have a smartphone or tables available as well as Internet access. SUPLA is developed based on an Open Software and Open Hardware . This way, you can also develop this project!
