31-40Tizen OS

Install Tizen Studio:
To install Tizen Studio and the required profiles for IoT development, follow these steps:
Download and install Tizen Studio 4.0 or higher for your operating system from Tizen developer site.
Open Tizen Studio and go to Tools > Package Manager.
Click Extension SDK and verify whether the IoT Setup Manager appears in the list of available packages.
Click install for IoT Setup Manager to install the IoT Setup Manager Extension.
Scroll to find IoT-Headed-6.0 and IoT-Headless-6.0, click install.
Click Main SDK tab, and install the 6.0 Mobile profile:
From Raspberry Pi OS through Terminal:
sudo apt-get install pv
wget https://git.tizen.org/cgit/platform/kernel/u-boot/plain/scripts/tizen/sd_fusing_rpi3.sh?h=tizen --output-document=sd_fusing_rpi3.sh
chmod 755 sd_fusing_rpi3.sh
Look where the SD is with: lsblk
First without SD in the SD Reader, then plug and see, I see it in /dev/mmcblk0 and /dev/blk0p1
Then Download the Boot image and the Platform Image for your Pi
Now, format the SD with the script:
sudo ./sd_fusing_rpi3.sh -d <SD card device node> --format
In my example <SD car device node> is /dev/mmcblk0, so i run:
sudo ./sd_fusing_rpi3.sh -d /dev/mmcblk0 --format
Answer Y when ask, the first time i have an issue because Pi OS mounted the SD automatically in /media/pi/ so was in use. Just repeat and all goes well.
Next we Fusion the 2 Images and deploy to SD:
sudo ./sd_fusing_rpi3.sh -d <SD card device node> -b <Boot Image path> <Platform Image path>
Again my <SD card device node> is /dev/mmmcblk0
My <Boot Image pat> is /home/pi/Downloads/tizen-unified_20211126.1_tizen-boot-armv7l-rpi4.tar.gz
And my <Platform Image path> is /home/pi/Downloads/tizen-unified_20211014.1_tizen-headed-armv7l.tar.gz
So all is:
sudo ./sd_fusing_rpi3.sh -d /dev/mmcblk0 -b /home/pi/Downloads/tizen-unified_20211126.1_tizen-boot-armv7l-rpi4.tar.gz /home/pi/Downloads/tizen-unified_20211014.1_tizen-headed-armv7l.tar.gz
Once this was executed eight img were deployed
My SD now have 10 partitions:

rootfs
system-data
user

Volume 34MB

Tiny Core Linux
Last update 2023The Core Project is a highly modular based system with community build extensions.
It starts with a recent Linux kernel, vmlinuz, and our root filesystem and start-up scripts packaged with a basic set of kernel modules in core.gz. Core (11MB) is simply the kernel + core.gz - this is the foundation for user created desktops, servers, or appliances. TinyCore is Core + Xvesa.tcz + Xprogs.tcz + aterm.tcz + fltk-1.3.tcz + flwm.tcz + wbar.tcz
TinyCore becomes simply an example of what the Core Project can produce, an 16MB FLTK/FLWM desktop.

Max2Play
Last update 2020It allows for simple and comfortable control and configuration of single board computers like the Raspberry Pi directly via any local internet browser (using laptop, PC or smartphone). This makes the connection of a mouse, keyboard or screen obsolete.
Play Audiophile Music & HD Videos
Max2Play lets you render all established audio formats. In addition, we offer special Max2Play Plugins for the most popular Raspberry Pi sound cards. A simple multiroom audio setup is one of Max2Play’s major application fields: we use a Squeezebox Server to set this up in order to be able to integrate all pre-existing Squeezeboxes into the multiroom system. Max2Play uses KODI and enables the playback of HD videos. Max2Play consequently allows both audio and video playback on one system.
Music Server & Home Automation
Max2Play is both server and player at the same time. This means you can install a Squeezeserver locally on your Max2Play device (e.g. Raspberry Pi) and use our mounting tools to easily mount your whole local music library. Additionally, the device can be used to play back music. Aside from local files, you can use streaming services like Spotify or stream music via AirPlay or Bluetooth. We also offer various plugins for home automation sector.
