Digital Signage
Last updat 2024Raspberry Digital Signage is an operating system designed for digital signage installations on the Raspberry Pi: it displays a full-screen browser view restricted to a specified resource.
It shows web resources from Internet, local network or internal sources (a WordPress installation is embedded by default inside the system, so you can use the Pi itself as the source webserver).
Raspberry Digital Signage comes with the latest Chromium builds (featuring HTML5 capabilities), so you can display more attractive resources, more easily.
For example, you can display your own advertising site, electronic signs, booking site, queue or timetable management web application or create superb web presentations with Google Slides (Powerpoint compatible) or similar software.

Crux ARM
Last updat 2023The primary focus of CRUX-ARM is provide a port of CRUX distribution to ARM devices. It follows CRUX guidelines, trying to keep in mind the KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) concept and share characteristics. It's targeted to experienced linux (and better CRUX) users. CRUX-ARM's secondary focus is to provide a collections of tools to let users build a CRUX system from scratch. It's a very customizable framework. At first sight the framework provides:
toolchain:
hadfp toolchain (SOCs with hard float support)
Old toolchain version:
softfp (SOCs with soft float support)
eabi toolchain (for chipsets above armv4t).
noeabi toolchain (for chipsets older than armv4t).
kernel: collections of maintained device kernels.
pkgutils-cross: a port of pkgutils to manage ports (build and install) in the cross system.
crossrootfs: different ports collections for cross compilations and cross-packages generation.
ports-arm: overlay repositories for ports that need modifications for ARM.
The objective is to provide users a release with the minimal software (core collection, which can be saw in the release notes) We provide a way to build custom packages (standard or optimized by arch device like is explained in the documentation) letting users expand the system in an easy way to cross-build packages in addition to the common/native method. This cross method is useful on systems where compiling is slow (due to low or old resources).

Sgneep-Box JeOS
Last updat 2022To say everything that SgneepBox does in a few lines is impossible.
But we can imagine it as an unconventional system to efficiently build and use any sort of application that generates a real performance using a device like the RaspberryPi3B and its GPIO port that offers a good compromise in speed and stability. SgneepBox allows you to create HMI interfaces in a few simple steps and with little knowledge, monitor video and music, send emails, send M2M data and even control your Desktop.

Web Home Pi
Last updat 2019Descripción:

Things Gateway
Last updat 2023The Web of Things connects real-world objects to the World Wide Web.
The idea of the Web of Things is to create a decentralized Internet of Things by giving things URLs on the web to make them linkable and discoverable, and defining a standard data model and APIs to make them interoperable.
The Web of Things is intended as a unifying application layer for the Internet of Things (IoT), linking together multiple underlying IoT protocols using existing web technologies.

Creating the base image file for the Raspberry Pi:
Connect Wi-Fi
Your gateway will most likely connect to the Internet and also communicate with all your devices via Wi-Fi, which needs to be set up next.
When the gateway starts up it will create a Wi-Fi hotspot called “WebThings Gateway XXXX” (where XXXX are four digits from your Raspberry Pi’s MAC address). Use a personal computer or smartphone to scan for and connect to that wireless network.
