Perimeter and Area

🔹 What Is Perimeter?

Perimeter is the distance around a shape.
You find it by adding all the sides.

Example:
Rectangle with sides 5 cm and 3 cm:

5 + 3 + 5 + 3 = 16 cm

🔹 What Is Area?

Area is the space inside a shape.
It’s measured in square units.

Formula for a Rectangle:

Area = length × width
Example: 6 cm × 4 cm = 24 square centimeters
