🧠 Parts of an Analog Clock

• Hour hand → Short hand (points to the hour)
  
  

• Minute hand → Long hand (points to the minutes)
  
  

• Numbers 1 to 12 → Show the hours
  
  

✅ Always read the hour hand first, then the minute hand.

🕓 Telling Time to the Hour

If the minute hand is on 12, the time is “o’clock.”

🕧 Telling Time to the Half Hour

If the minute hand is on 6, it is half past the hour.
The hour hand is between two numbers.
