Nenya was the human incarnation of the Elven Ring of Power by the same name. She was being kept by Bright Lotus, empress of Shintapoor, who made her give up the power of the ring, and became a zero-level human. The same happened to apparently identical sisters Narya and Vilya (the latter of whom was a henchman of Kibbles). All of them live in Aertael now.
