Chodo Contague

Chodo Contague was the Aertael thieve's guild master from 1155 until September 1161. He was, as most thieve's guild masters are, fairly vicious and murderous. In late 1161 he apparently had some sort of mental breakdown, and became a vegetable, and the guild was taken over by his daughter, Belinda, who was even worse.

It was learned in late 1167 that what had actually happened was that Chodo had been possessed the the fragment of the spirit of a demigod named Ratri. This being consumed many lives and souls to regain its power, among them Chodo's. It was approaching full demigod power, and was slain in battle by a group of adventurers from Aertael.
