Airlaen (NPC)

Airlaen is a male human fighter, a member of the Finarfin group. He is a sword specialist and a longbow specialist. He is short and stocky, about 5'4" and 170 pounds.

Died beyond resurrection in the Battle of the Southern Coast, November 19, 1166.

A widely-told story about him is that he owned Mournblade, but it became clear that it would eventually take him over, so the sword was disposed of somehow. Where it ended up is not known, but the most popular guess is that it was placed in the care of some sort of divine being on one of the upper planes.
