Chrysophylax (NPC)

Chrysophylax is an ancient, enormous white dragon that the players met far to the south while looking for the Path of Power. He is very knowledgeable, particularly about magic items, and can 'awaken' them so that they achieve their full potential, typically adding a few other special powers to them. This process also 'soul binds' the item to the owner, such that the item will be inert for anyone else.

He has a mortal being that acts as his doorkeeper and representative, who is known only as the Hand.

In April 1167, the group facilitated a deal between the temple of Itzamna and him so that he gained the Book of the Vishanti, a powerful artifact of magic-user spells.
